Shagha
Shagha is an Iranian filmmaker, artist and educator based in Toronto. She recently received her second degree in Fine Arts at Emily Carr University and she also holds a Bachelor Degree in Digital Film and Television from Malaysia’s Limkokwing. She has worked at The Cinematheque, University of British Columbia, Simon Fraser University, National Film Board of Canada and Ontario Arts Council. Her most recent film was a short documentary sponsored and funded by Telus, Storyhive and The Cinematheque. Shagha also co founded the Middle Eastern and North African Film Festival in Vancouver.
